is the capital of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship and is located in approximately 120 kilometres north-east of Berlin at the mouth of the river Oder, at the “Szczecin Lagoon”. Szczecin is one of the largest ports in the Baltic Sea region and the seventh largest city in the Republic of Poland. Forests, marshlands, meadows and lakes characterize this natural paradise. The 32 kilometres of coastline offer fine sandy beaches with small bays. The inland was developed with 500 km of cycling paths and 400 km hiking trails to please the recreational seeking guests.
